Desi'Andrea Sabine Empty
PostSubject: Desi'Andrea Sabine   Desi'Andrea Sabine EmptySat Feb 01, 2020 9:30 am

Full Name: Desi'Andrea Sabine

Mate: Lucius Mistwalker - Sometimes

Race: Born Vampire

Preferred Group: Loner

Scent: Lavender

Voice:

Build and Appearance: From birth, she has worn a mask and cloak, as was the way of her clan. They were genderless, faceless, assassins. Her identity is a mystery to all, except for her mate. Through circumstance, and survival a bond was created, they shared blood. The sharing of her blood, was the key that broke the glamour and mirrage that allowed her to be unseen; an unknown body amongst an ever growing sea. She is tall lithe waife of a female. Grace and agility of that of a dancer, with long blue black locks past her buttocks, startling deep blue eyes, that seem to hold the weight of the world, a soft glimmer of sadness in there depths of the horrors she's encountered and been through.

Desi'Andrea Sabine Desi10

Birth Season: Late Summer

Powers:

Blood Memory: As she drinks from her prey, their memories flood her system having no control over them. Before the war, she would use this method to guide her in her actions in whether the vampire needed to be punished.

Memory Displacement: If she is seen, the person or persons will instantly forget that they saw her within seconds. The only way to be able to remember her is to ingest her blood for a prolonged period of time, to expell her natural glamour.

She can create illusions and set real traps within the illusion that are deadly and effective. She is strong in this aspect; the illusion doesn’t have any flaws and looks like the real deal to even the best of fighters.

She is an expert at dispelling spells and traps as she is able to see the thread of the magic/spell.

Skills:

  • Trained to be an assassin from birth. She has learned to conceal her movements and mute her footsteps. She is only seen if she wants to be seen.

    Hand to Hand Combat

    Making Poisons

    Setting traps, explosives, bombs, etc

    Adaptable to any weapon

    Unraveling Spells

    Casting Spells

    Creating potions

Weakness: She has to drink blood of other vampires. She has a rare blood disorder that has put her at a disadvantage with fitting in with her family and coven. The Vampire Council frowned upon this behavior stamping the label: Abomination. She can survive on human blood for a short period of time before she begins to lose all of her strength. As human blood is not an expectable source of nutrients, it does more harm than good in the long term. As she becomes weaker, her body will shut down, and with enough time, she’d turn to dust.

Sunlight is extremely lethal. She is never caught without her cloak and mask, if the sun where to touch her, it would instantly scorch her skin. Depending on the duration, healing time varies. Drinking Lucuis’ blood greatly increases the healing process but she and he are not always together so any vampire’s blood would do.

Holy objects are uncomfortable to be around, but they do not cause any damage.

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Fighting Class: Dilettant

Personality: Desi is a rather reserved female. She had no friends growing up. She was always training and honing her skills. She had to be, as the other assassins picked fights with her on a daily bases. When her parents agreed she was ready to join them, she became a part of her family’s squad that carried out the laws of their government. The assassins were only known amongst their inner families. To others, they were genderless and faceless. To the civilian vampires, they were considered the boogeyman of their race. Parents would tell their children stories of how death would come for them if they weren't good little vampires.

She is calm and collected. If her mind is set on a task she will complete it and ignore everyone else. Tough as she looks, talking to strangers makes her uncomfortable. Appearances can be deceiving. She doesn't go out of her way to be nice or mean. She does for herself. Her survival is all that matters. That, and exacting vengeance on Lucius. The thought of friendship, relaxing, fun, etc. is a foreign concept to her. She will not understand as everyday was a constant battle of survival.

As she has to hunt and kill her own kind, she has no friends, only herself and The Goddess for guidance.

As we come into this new age, Desi has grown with the times and has become more modern.

History:

The Council was made up of the Seven Founding Families of the Vampire race. To remain the supreme beings of the world, the Council concluded that every vampire must obey a set of laws. To ensure that no vampire was above the law, not even the Council, the Council created a faction of vampires to be judge, jury, and execution to any vampire that broke these laws, they were to be namless members of each house hold. The squads mission is based on Skadi: Goddess of Winter and of the Hunt. She is the goddess of Justice, Vengeance, and Righteous Anger. As the Council was power hungry and suspicious of each other, it was agreed upon that each house could only have a total of three Death members. All members wore a mask and cloak to conceal their identity and gender. Desi'Andrea Sabine was born to the House of NightShade. From birth, her parents trained her body to except poison and other harmful substances. The first few times her small body almost died. "Suffering", her parents would say, 'is all a part of who we are. You will learn to grit and bear". But as she grew older, the pain dulled to where she was eventually able to eat it with no ill effect. She was trained in hand to hand combat and how to defeat an enemy at a distance using any means necessary.

She honed her skills daily as she got in a fight almost every day, until she grew into her powers. She was able to confuse her own kind. If they where to look upon her, they would not see nor remember her. She became a "ghost". She learned this the hard way, as one day she removed her mask to wipe the sweat from her brow, a passerby glanced to see the mysterious cloaked figure, her parents their on the training field ever watching. She was beat severely for removing her mask, and since then she never removed it again. She dealt with the uncomfortable-ness of being sweaty, hot, in pain. She learned to ignore all of the baser feelings as her parents shaped her into a weapon.

One night after she was jumped by many members of her coven, she managed to get away, barely. Making it to her favorite spot, a rundown shack near the ocean, she made her way inside and slid to the floor, eyes closing. It was awhile later; she felt a presence in the room with her. Struggling she rose to protect herself, only to have a hand settle her. The woman’s presence was overwhelming and her touch grounded her, made her steady. The woman didn’t speak, only looked at her with swirling, cold calculated eyes. A sensation started where the lady touched her, it became warm and warmer still until it burned deep, scorching Desi’s soul like a brand. The pain almost made Desi cry out and fall to her knees, but she locked her knees and ground her teeth. This made the deity smile. Then she spoke, and it was like bells started ringing and the cold of winter settle into the small cottage, "You are mine and will not be unjustly hurt again. I will call on you, and you will answer." Then she disappeared.

As time moved on, as it always has, the vampire numbers dwindled as born vampires were hard to come by. Soon the houses were divided on how to increase their numbers. Three out of the seven wanted to turn humans, which would violate their own set of laws. Three other houses where against this, not wanting to taint the bloodlines. The last of the Seven did not wish to side with any of the houses. As a verdict wasn’t reached, an agreement wasn’t made, but there was conflict within the Council and some went against the laws anyway. They went undetected for many years, until half-bloods started causing trouble and appearing in the news.

Some of the strictest laws:

1. Vampires shall not draw attention to themselves in the human world

2. Must not taint the bloodlines by converting humans/other species

Desi and her family scourged the realm, hunting down any vampire that broke the laws using their memories to mediate thier punishments.

The vampires had many enemies, not only humans but the wolf’s as well. Each determined to be the top of the food chain.

Decades went by. She was young, only 100 when the war came to their homeland. The Assassins from each house were forced to work together along with every able body, although powerful and deadly in their task, they were greatly outnumbered by the wolf packs that wrecked havoc on their lands.

By the time the fighting stopped, the founding families and the great council of old was destroyed. True death came that day to thousands of vampires, the race becoming almost extinct.

In the midst of battle, she had held her own. She lost count of the number of beast she killed during that long, never ending night. When she came too, she discovered that her own family was dead with the rest of the founding families and their horde. She spent countless hours searching for anyone whose true death was not upon them. She found one. Lucius Mistwalker. She didn't know why he was there, but she felt drawn to him. He was bathed in moonlight, his wings unfurled covered in blood in gore. His eyes glowed from the thrill of the fight. He took her under his wing and together they thrived.

Together, she stood by him and helped him with his plan of rebuilding what they all had lost. His dream of rebuilding had become hers. It was difficult at first, as he did not remember her. She held her own against him, barely in the early days as he he couldn't remember her and thought she was there to hunt him down. She had to keep reminding him of who she was. As the days passed, they would leave notes for one another so he would remember her. Having been ridiculed for her "disease," she did not tell him how she needed to feed and as the months progressed she became weaker.

He left in anger, not with her directly but her frail body, he had fed the young women, many humans, from many different cities, and yet her strenght wained by the hour. He saw her silent struggle, saw her push through and do as he bid, until this last month, she phsically couldn't.

He returned that night, or possibly nights later, Desi had lost all her senses. She was locked inside her body, constant agony as her body folded in upon itself, dehydrated to the point she could barely move. She lay in her bed, a desiccated mummy from what she once was. Waiting for her time to end, she had implored herself that she should have told him before now, but the ifs and whens was passed. She was in a void of darkness and pain, she had no body no pysical form, just pain ontop of pain, she was going to die.

The sweet aroma broke the through haze of painful nothingness. She could not see or think, she was the creature she was born to. A starving animal. He was leaned over her, and not expecting her to move, she did, her limbs circling him, nails clawing his back pulling his body to her, a desprate cry of a raving starving animal, her teeth had sunk into his neck, sucked and drew his precious blood into her body. She was unaware of his hands on her, his vile curse, but it didn't take much to pull her off him and put her back in bed. Her bite was messy, his blood seeping down his neck. Looking down at her complexion he could see it did wonders for her. His brillaint mind peiced two and two together and he smirked. Knowing, that legends of legends could come true, she the abomination of their race. A myth, a curse, and yet here she was.

For her survival, his blood triggered the mating bond that would forever unite them. The electric blue design covers her right hand, travels up her arm, and spirals out over her shoulder and breast. It is an intricate design of old, a blessing and a curse from the Goddess. But their story was not one of love or compassion. Their mating bond was forced on them by the Goddess herself. The Goddess was selfish in this task binding the two together, but as they were not truly soul mates, the bond was not complete. The design on her body is not complete, the many designs unfinished. Desi, being the Goddesses right hand, needed to survive. As it was the will of the gods, Desi and Lucius, could do nothing but accept what was and what will be, until….

Desi's Arrival to Kostas – Centuries Later

The ship sank its anchor. Finally, it had reached its destination, eighty miles north of Kostas territory. Two divers dove into the frigid waters. Down they swam until they came across a sunken ship, where the map and informant said it would be. Entering through a hole in the side of the ship, the divers searched it thoroughly.

She felt his hands on her waist, his presence behind her, the soft brush of his lips on her neck. "D." he whispered. His voice filled with need. It had taken them centuries to get to this point, they only had one another. His touch sent fire racing through her lions, her eyes closing for a brief moment...

Pocketing a few gold pieces, the divers were about to leave the spot when the flashlight's beam shown across what appeared to be a chest of sorts. Swimming closer towards the object, coral fish quickly swam from their hiding spots, bubbles trailing after them.

The chest was lifted and brought aboard the ship using a crane. Encrusted with barnacles, sand, algae and other microorganisms the chest was of a rich mahogany wood, trimmed in black, with a deadbolt to hide its secrets.

The silk sheets were cool against her warm flesh. A smile marred her features as she thought about what they had just done. Her body ached still, but it was a pleasant reminder of their consummation.

She was numb, her eye lids heavy. She was in danger! Why couldn't she open her eyes... what had happened... where was...LUCIOUS!, her mind screamed. What did he give me?, she wonders as the darkness takes her under once again.

The broken deadbolt fell to the floor. The chest' top was pushed open...

"What in blue beards name is that?" asked a crew member?

Her eyes moved from behind her eye lids slowly. What was she doing?, her sleepy mind wondered. Her internal clock told her she had less than 15 seconds before the sun would be up. She was safe though, she was with Lucius. A slow smile crept over her features.

...name is that....?

Lucius?, her sleepy mind wondered. WAIT! That wasn't Lucius...what was going on? Her eyes snapped opened. Her vision blurred and unfocused; however, her other senses kicked in. Her hands moved from under the sodden cloak she wore. Her fingers gripped he male’s wrist that was inches from her face.

The sun had started to peak through the clouds, rays beating back the shadows of night, sneaking its way to the chest.

SURVIVE!!!!

Moving with the speed she possessed, she lunged for the male closes to her, her fangs sprang free and she struck his artery. BLOOD!!!!! She moaned longingly at the taste. She was ravenous!!! What the hell had happened!

His memories!!!!! She yanked her teeth from his neck, severing his head from his shoulders. Screaming she fell to her side clutching her head, spots filled her vision. A sharp pain sliced through her ribs. Her eyes snapped open again. Her mind was still reeling from what she had seen.

SURVIVE!!!

Her eyes focused on the male that hurt her. Her blue iris bled to a dark red. Pulling the harpoon from her side, she tossed it behind her, impaling one out of the three guys that were left alive.

...................................

A boat drifted to port with no signs of life....large pools of copper stained the wood work. The crew was scattered here and there, but the Captain, O' Captain'. His head was mounted at the front of the ship.

...................................

The crew’s blood was not nearly enough. She had vomited twice already not able to keep it down. Her body was in withdrawals, shaking, unsteady. From what her mind could grasp, she had been "sleeping" for over 2000 years....

Her eyes bled back to their normal blue hue, settling on the Port she had just arrived at. She rose to her feet on unsteady legs, one hand pressed to the wound that came close to piercing her heart. "Grit and Bear, dear Des. This new world waits."

……………………..

From there she had found Lucius and learned that he had entrapped her in a coffin so many centuries before, sending her on a ship across the seas unknowingly that the ship would sink. She is still angry with him, but there was not much she could do as his blood would heal her. Save her from starvation, so she stayed and dealt with him. As it was, his antics drove her mad, but she was smart in saving his blood in glass vials to take with her on the go. She never knew when the Goddess would call or when she would need to mete out justice. Stash saved, she was good to go when needed.

She learned of the wolves in the territory, but kept her distance. This land was not her calling and soon she was on the move again. Away from Kumari and Luc...for now.

It wasn’t until a vampire crossed her path that she took an interest in things. He is centuries old but she kept up with him even though he played tricks to slow her down. She quickly brought down his illusions and tricks, hot on his trail. His trail has led her all over the world and now into yet another new city. She will catch him and destroy him and extinguish is evil this time......

.....A New Century Later....
